Cross country ski trail are open on a daily basis throughout the snow season. The ski lodge is open weekdays 11am-4:30pm; weekends 8:30am-4:30pm. Tow ropes operate from 11am-4pm during the scheduled downhill ski season. Downhill skiing is available every weekend throughout the snow season and weekdays during the Christmas holiday season except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

This Portage County Park has attracted cross-country and downhill skiers to its slopes and trails for years. The standing rocks are huge glacial erratics, granite boulders rolled here by the continental ice sheet. The view of Bear Lake from the top of the ski hill is thrilling. Slopes include 2 beginner, 1 intermediate, 2 expert runs. Nine-hole disc golf course. During the snow season, contact Standing Rocks park at 715-824-3949. Standing Rocks Park is also home to the Standing Rocks Dog park, a fenced area with an agility area and trails.
