Winter Park Recreation Area
Skiing, Tubing, and Snowboarding the whole family can enjoy! The Winter Park Skiing/Snowboarding hill has 5 runs, some with a 160' vertical drop. There is also a Beginner's Ski/Snowboard Hill. There is a T-Bar Lift System to transport skiers and snowboarders to the top of the main hill and there is a handled rope tow lift system for the Beginner's Ski/Snowboard Hill.
The Winter Park tubing hill has 5 runs each measuring approximately 450' with a 70' vertical drop. There is no workout needed to get up the tubing hill as the Winter Park Association recently installed a state-of-the-art Magic Carpet, a standing-only conveyor belt, which transports tubers from the bottom of the hill to the top in less than 2-minutes. Winter Park also has a trail system perfect for snowshoeing around the park.
