810 Park Avenue - Beaver Dam, WI 53916
Beaver Dam Pepper Festival celebrates the Beaver Dam pepper, which originated in Apatin, formerly a part of Hungary. Its seeds traveled to Beaver Dam in the late 19th century with Joe Hussli, a Hungarian immigrant and the seeds have been shared with friends and neighbors, passing them down through generations to those who appreciate the pepper's mild bite.
This year marks the 11th annual celebration and the second year the festival is pairing up with Potosi Brewing Company, featuring their version of the Beaver Dam Papper Beer. You will always find apple pepper pancakes, apple pepper pies, and or course the original Beaver Dam Pepper brat at every Beaver Dam Pepper Festival, held on the 2nd Saturday of September. Live entertainment, the return of the chili cookoff, the longest pepper contest, pancake breakfast served all day, pies by slice, entertainment from Mr. Steve, and more await you!
