Since 1978 the Hayward Chapter of Muskies Inc. has hosted an annual fall fishing tournament on some of the greatest muskie waters anywhere. This is a catch and release Muskie tournament which draws about 400 contestants. It takes place on 17 lakes in the Hayward area and there are $30,000 in prizes.
