Early-season trails can be icy and may get worn down quickly. Stay aware of the conditions!

The recent stretch of sub-freezing temperatures has been making lake ice but be sure you know what areas to avoid before venturing out. There are still reports of THIN ICE areas to avoid.

Trail 63 North of Grand View is closed. Trail 4 is closed, from Delta to Ashland County.

Early season riding conditions! Thin snow cover and some icy corners.

The Burnett County Frozen Ground ATV Trail system is OPEN. Snowmobile trails are closed due to lack of snow.

Clark County snowmobile trails are closed.

All Columbia County Trails are closed.

Ice heave on North Twin Lake

All zones are closed in Dodge County. The Wild Goose State Trail (WGST) is open to ATV/UTV trafiic in Dodge County. ATV/UTV's are not permitted on the Fond du Lac County section of the WGST.

Be aware of Prairie Rider's trail reroute and nearby work along trails east of the airport following County Rd. H

The trails are in early season condition. They are rideable but the snow is thin with icy patches. Gravel is through the snow on trail 17 in the Powell marsh towards Mercer. Please ride with caution.

ATV/UTV trails are open, mainly north of County Road C. Marinette County Highways (lettered roads) are open 24/7/365. Individual municipalities may have other regulations. Check directly with the townships, villages and cities for their ordinances.

Marinette County's year 'round ATV/UTV trails are OPEN! Mainly north of CTY HWY C. Designated Marinette County Highways (lettered roads, C, Z, X) are open 365/24/7. Local municipal roads may differ. Check with them directly for their regulations.

Snowmobile trails are closed in this area. County highways (lettered roads) are open for ATV'S & UTV's, 24/7/365. Individual townships, villages and cities may have different ordinances in place so check with them for their regulations.

Trails remain closed at this time. Watch for trail re-routes, closures as trails may have changed from last season.

Please use extreme caution on North Twin. There is a huge ice heave all the from the Noth shore to the south shore with jagged ice pushed up to around 3 feet in height. The crossing of the heave is narrow and is marked with barrels. SLOW DOWN AND STAY ON THE MARKED TRAIL!!!!

WIth the minimal snow we have received Price County snowmobile trails will remain closed.

Be aware of ice heaves: Nelson Lake, Round Lake, Long Lake, Chippewa Flowage, Grindstone, and Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO). Please read more below.

Only some trails are being groomed: Ashwabay, Birkie, Valhalla and part of Rock Lake.

Cross country ski trails are not groomed. Low to now snow conditions.

Trails are closed for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, however, remain open for hiking.

Lake Emily Trails are currently CLOSED! Halls Creek Trails are currently CLOSED!

The Jack Lake Mountain Bike Trail Winter Fat Biking Trail will be groomed once adequate snowfall is received. Please keep checking back for when Jack Lake Mountain Bike Trail Winter Fat Biking Trail will be opening.

Be aware of snowmobile crossing.

Ski trails are back OPEN!

Trail will be limited this winter. Sledding hill closed this winter due to dredge project.

Reopening is scheduled for Friday, 1/24.
