Embark on a delightful self-guided tour, explore the Visitor Center and learn about LaClare Creamery and Saxon Creamery cheeses and our cheesemaking operations. Available Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM, visitors can explore the world of artisanal cheese. Through large viewing windows, watch as skilled artisans craft over 15 varieties of cheese right on-site.

In spring and summer, step outside to visit the goat silo and meet the friendly goats. Then wander over to the barn, where 700 playful doelings await, along with a few charming residents like a donkey, a llama and chickens. During the late spring and summer, baby goats steal the show in the viewing room. Be sure to check their website for special baby goat events!

After your tour, enjoy a meal at the café. Choose from delicious sandwiches, fresh salads or a curated cheeseboard featuring their cheeses. The expanded outdoor dining area provides the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing lunch. For a sweet treat, don’t miss out on the creamy ice cream, available in both goat and cow milk varieties.

Before you leave, visit the Cheese Shoppe to sample and purchase their award-winning cheeses, including the famous Original and Maple Bourbon Goat Cheeses. You’ll also find ice cream, wine, and specialty products. From late April through September, you can explore their Garden Center’s vibrant selection of plants and flowers.
