The Yesterday House is a log house that was built in 1885 and contains items used by early settlers. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Liberty School was built in 1919 and is currently furnished for a 1905 family of ordinary folks. "The Machine Shed" houses displays of early 1900's equipment and tools used for farming, logging, blacksmithing and carpentry. These buildings are overseen by German Settlement History, Inc., located in the Town of Spirit. To schedule a free tour, call 715-564-3299 or e-mail gshinc@centurylink.net. A Barn Dance fundraiser is held Sunday evening of Memorial Day Weekend from 7pm to midnight and an Open House & Picnic is held the last Saturday in July from 11am-3pm.
