Sievers School of Fiber Arts
Experience the beauty of nature while exploring artistic interests alongside like-minded friends! Established in 1979, the organization offers over 35 classes each season. Their diverse curriculum includes weaving, knitting, spinning, quilting, basketry, dyeing, paper arts, beadwork, surface design, woodcarving, and more. These classes, taught by professional instructors and fiber artists, range from two to seven days and cater to all levels of adult students.
On-site dormitory facilities are available for participants. Visitors are welcome at the unique 1895-built schoolhouse, which features a shop showcasing original fine crafts and fiber arts handmade by Sievers students and teachers. The shop offers a variety of items, including jewelry, baskets, wearables, home goods, and gifts, as well as quality knitting and weaving yarns, accessories, books, and supplies for quilting and embroidery.
