The Wisconsin African American Woman Organization (WAAW) has been in existence since 1997. The mission of the organization is to empower all people, regardless of race, gender, and ethnicity, through various activities involving economic development, various arts, and culture. The center also expands its offerings to environmental gardening to promote positive social/emotional enhancement in the community.
