Brisbane House
Fully restored, this historic gem is now open for overnight stays for up to ten guests. It’s tucked away on 18 wooded acres in the beautiful Wisconsin River Valley, just outside of Spring Green, which is the home of Taliesin and American Players Theater.
The main house is both rustic and elegant, with contemporary furnishings. The high ceilings and tall windows feel light and airy, contrasted with the sturdy stone walls and the patinaed wood floors. Put your feet up in front of the gas fireplace in the living room and enjoy the museum-quality fine art all around you. Have a glass of wine on the screened porch.
This twice-award-winning striking stone house is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places and was built in 1868 by William Henry Brisbane, a passionate abolitionist from South Carolina. Seize the opportunity to book your stay at Brisbane House. See why guests say things like, "Such a beautiful stay! The wow factor when you pull up is just the start!” And "The Brisbane House is a true gem in America’s Dairyland!"
