Redstone and Sandwood cottages are fully furnished vacation rentals located on the lower Wisconsin Riverway providing everything you need for a couples getaway. Each two bedroom cottage sleeps four adults with bed and bath linens provided. With the well equipped kitchen you can create a simple meal to enjoy at the table or fix your meat on the Weber grill and eat on the shaded patio. The stone fireplace invites cozy evenings inside while the fire pit and outdoor seating draw one to the river to enjoy the sunset. Relax while listening to the artesian well waterfall, think deep thoughts while following the labyrinth then walk along the paths to the river to fish or view the eagles flying. Originally, these cottages were officer army barracks at Truax Field, Madison, WI during WWII. They were moved to this WI River location in the 1970's. We'd like to share our little piece of riverbank with you!
