Solberg Lake County Park & Campground
Open year-round. Located on Solberg Lake (844-acres, motorized, many species of fish); 60 campsites with electric hookup, fire ring, picnic table, and storage/prep table; fee required; no reservations – first come, first served; tents, trailers and RVs up to 45+ feet; uncut wood is provided; paved road & parking area; pressure water (faucet & drinking fountain), two flush toilet/shower buildings and dump station (both require quarters) open mid-April/May through September/late-October, conditions permitting; open-air shelter/pavilion with electricity; picnic area, tables, benches, grills, sandy beach, playground equipment, fishing pier, boat landing, boat dock, sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits (bring your own equipment); non-motorized 3/4-mile hiking/nature, 2.2-mile Aabajijiwani-ziibiinsing Trail, 3.4-mile Solberg Lake/Aabajijiwani-ziibiinsing Trail, plus hunter walking trails nearby; campsites 1-16 and 37-60 allow ATVs / UTVs access via East Solberg Lake Road to the multi-use Solberg Trail which allows ATVs, UTVs, and off-road motorcycles (May 15 – March 14). Caretaker on site Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. (Winter camping – vault toilets, no water, no plowed roads or services.)
