Twin Lakes Campground
Open year-round. This 17-unit rustic, shady campground is a family favorite with good trout and pan fishing. Twin Lake is 19-acres in size and has good fish populations. A small sandy beach and boat landing are available for activities like canoeing, swimming, and fishing. This campground is near the north end of the 9.3-mile Round Lake Trail and adjacent to the semi-primitive non-motorized area. Each campsite has a parking spur, picnic table and fire grill and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs; fee required; 7 campsites can be reserved; 10 campsites are first come, first served; two campsites have a hardened surface, accessible grills, and easy access to drinking water and vault toilets. For reservation information, call 1-877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov. Winter camping – vault toilets, no water, no plowed roads or services.)
