Until further notice, this State Park has limited hours of 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, except for Wednesdays when it will be closed. Restrooms, water fountains, and trash receptacles are unavailable. Park passes are required but are not being sold on-site. The Menominee River State Recreation Area is open year-round. The property encompasses 7,652 acres of land in Dickinson and Menominee Counties, Michigan, and Marinette County, Wisconsin. Combine this area features 17 miles of undeveloped river corridor with both rocky gorges and wide open stretches that offer a destination for whitewater rafting and kayaking, as well as hunting, fishing and wildlife viewing.
