OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

These official rules govern Travel Wisconsin’s Dream Draft Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) being conducted by Wisconsin Department of Tourism, 3319 West Beltline Highway, Madison, WI 53708. Wisconsin Department of Tourism is the “Sponsor” and “Administrator” of the Promotion, and ESPN Radio is the prize provider (“Prize Provider”) for the Promotion. 

HOW TO ENTER

Entry begins on 2/17/25 at 12:00:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) and ends on 3/31/25 at 11:59:59 PM (CT) (“Promotion Period”).

To enter the Promotion, during the Promotion Period, go to travelwisconsin.com/draft (“Website”) and follow the links and instructions to complete the entry form in its entirety with your first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth and a valid email address.  Limit one (1) entry per person and one (1) entry per email address.  Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry as long as such person is otherwise eligible in accordance with these Official Rules.  The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning an email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Entries submitted will not be acknowledged or returned.  Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.  Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor.  No other attempted method of entry will be accepted; entries may not be mailed in.  Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion.  Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological problems.

No automated entry devices, bots and/or other programs and/or software are permitted for entry. No mechanically reproduced, altered, forged, or facsimile entries will be accepted.  All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Promotion Entities shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Promotion. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Only fully completed entries are eligible.

Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. All potential winning entries are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding. Any entry that occurs after the system has failed for any reason is deemed a defective entry and is void and will not be honored.

Sponsor is not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address and/or telephone number of entrants.  A potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address account associated with the winning entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The Promotion is open to all persons who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and legal United States residents residing in the United States, including the District of Columbia (excludes residents of Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories and Possessions). Employees of Sponsor, Prize Provider, and any of their subsidiaries and affiliated entities, Sponsor’s advertising and promotional agencies, and its participating sponsors (“Promotion Entities”); and the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, or children) and/or households (whether related or not) of each are ineligible to participate or win.  This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void in Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories and Possessions and where prohibited.

  • Potential winners and their respective guest must provide valid government-issued photo identification, valid documentation (passport or other appropriate documentation) prior to travel.

  • Entrants are required to provide truthful information and Sponsor will reject, deem invalid and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Sponsor will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements.

  • Winners must agree and be able to fly into or travel into Milwaukee, WI to be eligible.

  • Each winner and their respective guest must be able to travel to Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 staying the nights of 4/22/25 through 4/24/25 (3-nights) in Milwaukee, WI at a Sponsor-selected hotel.

  • Each winner and their respective guest will travel out of Milwaukee, WI to return to their home on Friday, April 4/25/25.

  • Promotion Entities are not responsible for any expenses encountered or unexpected with delays connected to travel to and from Milwaukee, WI.

 

PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”)/ODDS:

  • Ten (10) Grand Prizes are available in this Promotion.

Each Grand Prize consists of a 4-day/3-night trip for Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest to Green Bay, Wisconsin to take part in activities related to the draft on 4/24/25; round-trip economy class air transportation for Grand Prize winner and up to one (1) guest between a major commercial airport near to the Grand Prize winner’s primary U.S. residence (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) and Milwaukee, WI; access to hospitality passes at the Tundra Trio for winner and one (1) guest for 4/24/25; ground transportation to/from airport/hotel and event transfers; and three (3) nights hotel accommodations at a Sponsor-selected hotel in the Milwaukee, WI area (one-room based on double occupancy). Total ARV of Grand Prize $8,500/each winner. Guest of Grand Prize winner must be 21 years of age or older. Trip must be taken from April 22, 2025 – April 25, 2025; or Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Dates of departure and return are subject to change at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Certain restrictions may apply.

Grand Prize Trip Terms and Conditions. Grand Prize winners and their guests must depart/return from the same airport and travel on same itinerary. Trip does not include taxes, meals, tips, gratuities, service charges, hotel room service, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long-distance telephone calls, airport charges, baggage charges, additional ground transportation, or any other service or item not specifically described above. Trip is not redeemable for cash. Actual retail value of Grand Prize may vary depending on location of Grand Prize winner’s residence and may fluctuate due to market conditions, or changes in value of components, (e.g. air transportation and hotel rates) or other reasons and the difference in value will not be awarded. If Grand Prize winner lives within two hundred fifty (250) miles of Milwaukee, WI, Sponsor may substitute air transportation with alternate transportation between Grand Prize winner’s residence and hotel, and the difference in value will not be awarded. Once trip is booked by Sponsor or its designee for winner and their guest, no changes will be permitted. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of Grand Prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. In the event any scheduled event associated with the Grand Prize and/or any other component of the Grand Prize is cancelled, delayed, or postponed for any reason outside the control of the Sponsor, Sponsor will have no further obligation, other than to award the remainder of the Grand Prize. Sponsor and event venue reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to Grand Prize winner and/or guest who engage(s) in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the venue. Promotion Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions, health and safety conditions, Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any activities associated with any part of the Grand Prize. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize winners will receive an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 for the actual retail value of the Grand Prize for the tax year in which the Grand Prize was awarded. All applicable federal, state and local taxes on Grand Prize is the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner.

Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor. Prize is subject to availability. If the winner cannot travel on dates specified by Sponsor, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected in Sponsor’s sole discretion provided there is sufficient time remaining to do so. All other costs not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to those of, taxes, meals, tips and ground transportation to/from the airport and/or to/from the hotel, are the responsibility of the winner. The winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including, without limitation, a valid photo ID. If applicable, the winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check in to cover any incidental expenses incurred during the winner’s stay. If the event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, or for any reason beyond the control of Sponsor, the Sponsor’s sole responsibility to the winner will be to award the remaining available portion of the prize and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded portion of the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or guest if either engages in a disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any time.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

On or about Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Sponsor or its designee will randomly select ten (10) potential Grand Prize winners from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Each potential Grand Prize winner will be notified at the email address provided at time of entry. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential Grand Prize winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts potential Grand Prize winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to potential Grand Prize winner, potential Grand Prize winner will forfeit Grand Prize and an alternate potential Grand Prize winner may be selected. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to two (2) potential alternate Grand Prize winners in accordance with the above procedure, after which the Grand Prize may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If potential Grand Prize winner is found to be ineligible, or has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the Grand Prize for any reason prior to award, Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential Grand Prize winner may be selected.

Potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where legally permitted, Publicity Release ("Winner’s Release") which must be received by Sponsor’s representatives, within five (5) calendar days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim Grand Prize. The potential Grand Prize winners will also be required to execute and return an IRS Form W-9 (and will receive a subsequent 1099 IRS Form for the actual retail value of the prize). The guest of Grand Prize winner (guest must be 21 years of age or older) must sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to ticketing. Potential Grand Prize winners may be required to provide proof of identification, as required by Sponsor at its sole discretion, prior to awarding of Grand Prize. Potential Grand Prize winners will not be declared an official winner unless and until all documentation that Sponsor may require is properly executed and returned as directed by Sponsor. If a potential Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Winner’s Release or provide any other requested information within the required time period, such potential Grand Prize winner may forfeit Grand Prize and an alternate potential Grand Prize winner may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting.

CONDITIONS

  • If prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. No correspondence will be acknowledged. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. By entering Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless, Promotion Entities, their related companies, their parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees, and assigns of each of the foregoing (“Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation or attempt to participate in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize.  Entrants and winners (i.e. entrants that accept a prize) release and agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless against any and all claims and liability out of acceptance, possession, use or misuses of the prize, or participation in this Promotion. Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including property damage, personal injuries or death) resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in the Promotion or any prize-related activities. Acceptance of a prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or prize information in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or consideration, review, approval, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Promotion.

  • Except where prohibited by law, each entrant irrevocably grants to Sponsor and its designees the royalty-free right and permission to unconditionally reproduce, store, transmit, publish, display, use, or reuse the entrant’s name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, and any other information or materials arising out of participation in the Promotion for advertising, promotional, commercial, publicity and/or any other purposes (without limitation), in any and all media now or hereafter known, in any language, throughout the world, and in any manner without further review, notice, approval, consideration or compensation to the entrant. Unless prohibited by law, each entrant waives any right of privacy, right of publicity, intellectual property right, and other right that may preclude Promotion Parties from using or disclosing all or any part of an entry in any manner and for any purpose. 

  • Any attempted form of entry into the Promotion, other than the entry method stated, is prohibited. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, software, electronic, network, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, errors in transmission, lost or unavailable network connections, telephone connections, wireless phone connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture or entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed transmissions which may limit or restrict an participant’s ability to enter the Promotion, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s phone, or other matter relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion. If for any reason the online entry portion of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion; and award the prizes from among all eligible non-suspect entries received up to the action taken by the Sponsor provided a sufficient number of eligible entries have been received. Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.

  • Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Website. Failure to comply with the rules of the Promotion may result in an entrant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If Sponsor makes a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future promotions and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Sponsor not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion or in the announcement of a prize.

  • For a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 3/31/25 to Travel Wisconsin’s Dream Draft Sweepstakes – Official Rules,” Attn: Travel Wisconsin, 3319 West Beltline Highway, P.O. For the names of the prize winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 4/30/25 to the above address marked “Travel Wisconsin’s Dream Draft Sweepstakes – Winner List Request.” The Official Rules and the Winner List (when completed) shall also be available during regular business hours at the main offices of Wisconsin Department of Tourism and may be posted online at travelwisconsin.com/draft.

GOVERNING LAW

ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF WISCONSIN WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OF CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.
