Enjoy a celebration dinner at this 24th annual event hosted by the Knox Creek Heritage Center including Mojakka [a Finnish beef stew] that is cooked outdoors in an iron kettle over a wood fire, homemade multi-grain bread, and creamy rice with fruit sauce is served family-style. The homemade bread and cardamom braid is also available for sale. A pseudo “Let’s Make A Deal” will occur during the celebration with some great prizes and a few “zonks” for fun and entertainment. All proceeds are used to maintain this historical site which includes buildings over 100 years old.
