Write On the River: Settle in along the beautiful Rock River in Fort Atkinson from May 11-13, 2023 to write the letters, poems, or novel you never have time to work on! Meet other writers and poets and experience a variety of writing and poetry themed events on Saturday, May 13, including a reading from Wisconsin Poet Laureate Nick Gulig. Bring the kids and create sidewalk chalk poems, take photos in front of the downtown poetry murals, experience street poet Paul Wiegel's "on-demand poems" during Saturday's farmers market, and more. This is all in honor of famed poet Lorine Niedecker's 120th birthday.
