Reedsburg is proud to claim to have been the "Butter Capital of the World," but in the late sixties, seventies and eighties, Reedsburg was just that! During those years, the local Wisconsin Dairies milk plant produced more butter than any other place in the world, and for over 50 years they have been celebrating this summertime favorite – Butter Festival! Butterfest features a 4-day carnival, local concession stands, live music, kid’s activities, a large Saturday parade and the famous Knights of Columbus chicken barbeque on Sunday! You won’t want to miss the fun!
