This fun event on January 20, 2024, a DNR Free Fishing Day, provides a family friendly outdoor winter activity and will raise money for the Lake Sherwood Property Owners Association Conservation Fund. Registration begins at the Sherwood Lodge, 1146 W. Queens Way, Nekoosa, WI (Town of Rome) at 7:30 a.m. and the event ends at 4 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Registration fees are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 years of age and under. Cash payouts are made for the largest northern, bass, and walleye and largest overall fish. Children compete for trophies for panfish. Contact LSPOA at 715-325-4066 for additional information.
