The Humble 44
N4251 State Highway 55 - White Lake, WI 54491
On Saturday, August 10th, 2024, Langlade Wisconsin will be the one-lap mountain bike race—44 or 27 miles of remote single-track and humbling two-track race. The Start and Finish will be at Grudgeville Pub & Grub. Light/spotty rain or shine. Humble 44 and Humbling 27 will have a mass start at 10:00 AM. Be there by 9:00 AM to get organized and register. Evening award ceremony 6:00 PM ish. Top 3 finishers in each male/female category. To claim the crown, a GPS/Strava record will need to be presented.
A GPS, or hanging on a wheel, will be the only reliable way to follow the course as the route will not be marked, and cellular service is unlikely. Participants will be on their own. Paved highways are crossed, and two are followed for a bit.
$0 entry fee. All we ask is that you do something good. Eg, Donate some money or labor to your local bike trail, teach someone how to fix a flat, or forgive a roadie for their choices.
