It’s a pirates’ life on stage as “Treasure Island” opens the Racine Children's Theatre season Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6, 2024. The magic of this play comes from the way the entire audience creates the storm at sea, a mosquito-infested jungle, and a treasure cave filled with eerie ghosts. Children in the audience become members of Long John’s treacherous pirate gang while others join Captain Smollet’s crew. Shows are just over an hour in length and are great ways to introduce children to theatre and the arts, while creating new memories.
