Dress like a cave denizen for this family-oriented, timed run/walk around the park's trails, and you may win a prize.  5k course travels through obstacles, down into the quarry and optionally through the park's caves.  Healthy snacks and beverages available.  Recommended minimum age 8 years old accompanied by registered parent.  No strollers or dogs.  This is a fundraiser for the 501(c)3 nonprofit Friends of Ledge View Nature Center, who support educational programming at the nature center.
