Interstate State Park
Situated along the picturesque St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, Interstate proudly holds the title of Wisconsin's oldest state park, with a rich history dating back to 1900. Encompassing 1,400 acres, the park is home to three state natural areas, preserving unique glacial formations and plant ecosystems. Its diverse landscape includes upland and lowland forests, along with bedrock glades, surrounded by picturesque wetland areas around Lake O' the Dalles.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of recreational activities, including water sports, camping, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, hiking, and winter sports. The Ice Age Interpretive Center offers an immersive journey into Wisconsin's glacial history through film, photographs, murals and insightful information.
