Iverson Park
Iverson Park is one of Stevens Point's oldest and largest parks. In addition to the Green Circle Trail, which travels through the park, it offers a multitude of uses throughout the year. The park has a large playground, restrooms, picnic areas, beach, lodges, picnic shelters, and a baseball diamond. The nature trails in the park are great for walking, running, and lend itself well to viewing more than 200 species on its bird list. Iverson Park is a great place to explore for an urban wildlife experience.
The winter facilities are tucked away in scenic Iverson Park, The park consists of: groomed and tracked 2.5-mile cross-country ski trail, two 300-foot-long toboggan slides, three sled and saucer hills, One hill specifically for kids six years and younger and one snowboarding hill an outdoor skating rink and a warming house.
