At 246 acres, Rockport Park is Janesville's largest park. It includes the Peace Park Playground and Pavilion, so named for the 52 foot tall Peace Pole with the inscription "May Peace Prevail on the Earth" in several languages. Rockport Park has an outdoor pool and concession stand, an expansive playground, restrooms, soccer field, historic farmstead and picturesque trails used for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. Pets are welcome in the park from September 16 through May 14.
