MATT'S STORY
Matt's spina bifida may keep him in a wheelchair, but his positive personality can’t be held down. Spend a few minutes with him and you’ll feel the incredible energy that turned him into a gold medal-winning Paralympian.
Matt’s roots in Wisconsin were established when UW-Whitewater recruited him for their wheelchair basketball team –and once he got a taste of the state, he couldn’t let go. Wisconsin feels like home to him, and that’s what brings him back every summer.
