One of Greenwood’s many treasures is the Branstiter Museum. Don Branstiter built the museum in 1980 to house his many collections. You will take a walk down memory lane as you stroll past 38 miniature antique cars, coins dating back to 1934, 238 toy tractors, old tools used in the early dairying and lumbering days, stamps, and over 170 photographs of early Greenwood. Another one of its beautiful features are 17 store fronts from the early 1900s. Branstiter passed away suddenly in 1993. In 1995 his family donated the museum and its contents to the City of Greenwood for citizens and visitors to cherish for many years.
