Pearl Island is the area between the Sugar River and along the Mill Race. Four seasons of recreational fun: benches for wildlife watching, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, pontoons. Small motor boats, pontoons and canoes/kayaks can easily access the water here.  Pull in to Head Gates Park (off Golf Course Road) to access the north end of the corridor.  The parking lot has a bathroom and picnic tables.  A short walk (or bike ride) north takes you to Decatur Lake Dam - there's a mini picnic shelter plus a grill right by the dam.  All along the corridor are scenic vistas, benches and bird houses.  Here's a link to a printable map, which shows parking areas and trails: https://www.greencounty.org/category/trail-maps/
