At the Idlewile Inn, customer service is key and we take pride in bringing our customers unique meals made with the freshest ingredients! The man that built the Opera House in St. Cloud also owned the Idlewile Hotel across the road from the Opera House. His wife was well known for her chicken dinners at the Idlewile Hotel (now the Idlewile Inn). Like the current owners, the chicken dinners drew a good crowd. Although the delicious poultry entrees were served in a separate building, together the dance and dinner represented an early version of a Wisconsin "supper club".
