Enjoy this non-motorized trail between the communities of Three Lakes and Eagle River. Access in Three Lakes is at Don Burnside Park. Access in Eagle River is next to the Dairy Queen. The trail is 12.7 miles long, surfaced with crushed, compacted limestone. The north and south ends of the trail follow a former rail grade. The mid sections of the trail wind their way through a mix of secluded wetlands and woodlands. There is also a one mile stretch of quiet, paved town road about four miles south of Eagle River. A five mile section of the trail is groomed for cross country skiing during the winter ski season.
