The Kickapoo Valley Reserve is an 8600-acre public property, located between the village of La Farge and Ontario. Sandstone outcroppings tower over the Kickapoo River as you paddle its quiet waters. Native plants and animals abound in all seasons.  Visitors can enjoy over 50 miles of trails.  Silent sports only, no motorized vehicles are allowed.  There are designated trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking.   Join us for a scheduled interpretive hike, adventure into the backcountry on your own, or simply stop and admire the beauty. Permits are required for various visitor uses.
