Tomah offers two self-guided adventure driving tours of the surrounding countryside.

Enjoy the area’s beautiful Amish Country scenery just south of Tomah.  We encourage you to explore with the easy steps and suggestions found in our area guide (pages 36-38). Please note, due to religious beliefs, Amish are not allowed to be photographed.  Shops owned and operated by the Amish are closed on Sundays.

Enjoy the area’s beautiful Cranberry Country scenery which surrounds all of Tomah. The most exciting time of the year in Cranberry Country is harvest season, typically mid-September through October.  Another beautiful time to visit is during cranberry vine bloom, generally from late June into early July.  A great opportunity to see the pink blossoms up close is on Cranberry Blossom Day, hosted annually by Wetherby Cranberry Company on the last Saturday in June.  Explore Cranberry Country with the easy steps and suggestions found in our area guide (pages 40-43).
