Amery, Wisconsin is a small town located in Northwest Wisconsin. Also known as the City of Lakes and Trails, it has a population of 2,940 people. It is in Polk County and is just over 60 miles from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Amery is a rural town but it does have a downtown commercial area and industrial areas. The major attractions to Amery is its three lakes (South Twin, North Twin, and Pike Lakes), the Apple river Stower Three Lakes Trail and Cattail Trail two State Recreational Trails. The City's 13 Public Parks and other public land in the City provide many opportunities for individuals and families to participate in outdoor recreation activities.
