Winter Depot Welcome Center
Located on the Tuscobia State Trail in Winter, Wis. the Winter Depot Welcome Center provides area information on fishing, canoeing, ATVing, snowmobiling, camping, lodging, groceries, repair shops and local guides and festivals.
They carry regional Chamber magazines on tourism and activities of interest to visitors. The center has a large collection of local history in the form of murals, oral history and photos, plus wildlife interpretive displays such as the DNR elk reintroduction in the Flambeau River State Forest.
They host musical performances each month in the summer featuring area artists. Public restrooms open 24/7/365. They are a 501 C 3 nonprofit, a DNR Friends Group, that works directly with the Winter Area Chamber of Commerce.
