Saturday, June 7th 2025 is the annual Jack Lake Crazy Eights Trail Run and Mountain Bike Race. Day of registration will be open at 7am for all events.There will also be online registration. There will be food site sale onsite.

Make this race a weekend long trip! The Jack Lake mountain bike trails are located inside fantastic Jack Lake Campground at Veterans Memorial Park in Langlade County. There is swimming in beautiful Jack Lake just a short walk from the race area and group campsite, a disc golf course and a very nice shower facility. There is also the 1/3 mile Jack Rabbit loop to keep the kids busy.

Mountain Bike Race:

Part of the Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike Series (wemseries.com). Get your friends together for a team, or go for it solo. Under 18 Juniors race FREE!There is a group campsite reserved, or you can reserve your own spot online. Race course is about 12 miles long and 96% singletrack on fast flowing trails. The trails are not super technical, but definitely aerobic!

Start times are as follows:

Long Race (10 Hour): 8am start – final lap must be finished by 6pm.

Categories: solo, duo, open team

Mid Race (6 Hour): 11am start– final lap must be finished by 5 pm

Categories: solo, duo

Short Race (3 Hour): 1pm start– final lap must be finished by 4 pm

Categories: solo, duo, junior

Awards will start at 6:15pm unless all racers finish early. 

Trail Run:

The distance is still to be determined, but it will be approximately a 10k and is being run on the mountain bike singletrack, with good tread and wide enough for comfortable running. The terrain is rolling hills and aerobic! Start time is 9am with day of registration starting at 7am. Register online at Runreg (coming soon). 

Awards will be at noon.

The race is being run between races of the Mountain Bike Race – the timing of the start is such that you should see few riders if any.
