Located along beautiful and remote High Lake! This campground is a short drive from Veteran's Memorial Park! High Lake is a pristine, crystal-clear lake surrounded by hundreds of acres of county-owned forest, rich with recreational opportunities and wildlife. The campground is situated on the lake’s east shore; nestled among mature maple, birch, oak, and pine trees, providing a relaxing and peaceful setting.

The campground consists of 5 individual campsites with a picnic table and fire ring included. These sites are hike-in only; hike distances are short and vary from 50 feet to 300 feet. This campground is on a first come, first serve basis only and available by self-registration at High Lake.

Vaulted restroom facility, fresh water hand pump, boat launch, hiking/biking trails, shoreline fishing opportunities and a small parking area for vehicles and boat trailers. Wood is available for purchase at the Jack Lake park office. Jack Lake also has flush restroom, boat rentals, quarter-operated showers and an excellent swimming beach area!
