Westwood Golf Course - Sandtrap Bar & Grill
Beautiful and challenging 9-hole public golf course on the west shores of the Phillips Chain of Lakes. Free tee times. Four features that make this course challenging and fun include a creek running through holes #1, #3, and #8; ponds come into play on hole #1 and #7; the par 4 dog leg on #4 features a pot bunker for those long hitters looking for a birdie; bunkers protect every green. Many mature trees line the fairways, and wooded areas outline the entire course. The greens, tees and fairways are fully irrigated. A practice putting green is also available. Hazards include bunkers, water and woods. Drinking water at #3 & #8 on warmer days; port-a-potty easily accessible from #2 & #8. Deer and other wildlife occasionally roam with the golfers. Reduced green fee for age 12 and younger. Full service golf shop with a complete line of golf equipment plus club regripping & repair. Clubs, pull carts and motorized carts available for rent. Sandtrap Bar & Grill offers a full bar & menu with a large selection including a variety of sandwiches and dinners, appetizers, homemade pizza, and a Friday fish fry. If you are on the water, you can hitch your boat at their dock on Long Lake and stop by to quench your thirst, have a bite to eat, or play a round.
