Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort
Information:
715-882-3502
Open year-round; in winter, only accommodations are open for X-C skiers.
Following near total destruction by an F4 tornado in June, 2007, Bear Paw has rebuilt the dream! The resort offers whitewater kayaking and canoeing, kayak river touring, and family outings. In addition to paddling, the Wolf River area offers scenic trails for hiking, mountain biking, X-C skiing in winter, and exploring. Bear Paw's accommodations range from rustic camping to clean, comfortable, Northwood's-style modern cabins and chalet units. The new Bear Paw Pub serves great food in a casual up-north setting. Listen to great music, eat great food, drink great beer, and feel like you're at home.
